The Odour Control Network site was created by Odournet, International consultants on odour management and air quality research www.odournet.com. Odournet is independent from all solution providers, but recognises that Consultancy clients often need to implement odour removal technologies in the field.

From this perspective OCN website has been designed to help Industrial professionals to compare Odour Control equipments without endorsing any particular supplier. To remain independent and avoid any conflict of interest, the OCN website membership strictly regulated by the following terms & conditions:

* Inclusion on the website will not constitute in any way an endorsement by any Odour consultancy or by Odour Control Network (OCN).

* All OCN members will provide a financial contribution in the form of an annual membership fee and fees for especific services to enable proper vetting of information maintenance of OCN website and ensuring a high profile with internet search engines.

* All equipment suppliers must provide 3 contactable references of specific applications by sector. These references will be contacted directly by OCN staff or via an Independent Odour Consultancy to ensure confidentiality.We will ask the references in questions about their level of costumer satisfaction and technical performance of the installations provided. References will only be included in the online information their confirm the agreement directly to OCN.

* All Odour control equipment Suppliers will be required to submit Performance Tests of selected Odour control technologies in well defined applications in each target sector(s). The performance test must be carried out by an Independent Odour consultancy and vetted by OCN specialists.

* Odour consultancies eligible for Odour performace tests need to have an Olfactometry Laboratory in full compliance with EN13725 performance criteria, and acreditation for its quality management according to ISO 17025. Independent Performance Assessment reports are subject to review and approval by OCN odour consultants. Performance Assessment proposals and methodology can be reviewed before performing the tests to ensure acceptability of methodology for obtainnithe results. The review by OCN experts will ensure that performance tests provided to OCN will contain credible and plausible information. OCN will make this performance information available online to OCN visitors.

* The solution providers will be asked to provide a financial contribution to enable proper vetting and performance testing and maintenance of OCN website. All fee payments will be done to Odour Control Network bank account. As a ballpark figure, Odour control Suppliers can expect to invest as little as Two thousand Euros to become a member of OCN.

* The membership fee and all aditional cost will be confirmed in advance in a detailed proposal and quotation. The membership fee will be fixed for at least 6 months and at most a one year period.

* The quotation will be valid for stated period, not less than 30 days after the date of issue of the quotation. The acceptance of proposal and quotation is a condition for publishing any member information online.

* Membership fees are payable in advance, and will be invoiced for 6 or 12 months periods, as stated in detailed quotation. Membership fees are not refundable, once paid.

* Membership fees will not be invoiced and charged before the OCN member information, is approved for publication online. Initial setup fees related to independent review of information provided may be charged before publication online.

* Non payment may lead to putting the member´s information offline.

* Any admissible entity or company that is eligible to performing Independent Performance Assessment shall be completely commercially independent of the supplier and no commissions shall be awarded on completed sales of equipment or otherwise. Breaching of this rule will result in membership cancellation of the respective Treatment Supplier and banning of the Odour Consultancy to perform further testing, eligible for approval when reviewed by OCN.
